Italy was great thank you so much for organising everything. Weather was good we had a couple of milder days which was perfect for sightseeing the local towns (we went to your recommendation which was great) and the rest it was really hot – which was also good. One of the towns, Alberobello had these really cool little ‘mini houses’ with cool mini turret roofs. Both towns felt unpolished in a good way and very natural.
The Borgo Egnazia was really good staff were really attentive and nice – the villa had was really nice as well – probably a bit bigger than what we would require but turned out perfect (I think the next size down had smaller pools). One thing I noticed on tripadvisor was people complaining about the food – but the food here was great of a really high quality. You are not going to get cheeseburgers or anything like that but the food here had ingredients that were great and very regional – the seafood was really good there. We also as part of the villa package a lady come and cook and prepare breakfast which was great, got some great tips on how to make better coffee and Italian omelette’s! That is something I would thoroughly recommend.
